Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress best known for her roles in the films 'Beta',"Saajan," and 'Hum Aapke Hai Koun'. ..!' She started her career in the late 1980s and gained fame with her performance in the film 'Tezaab', in which she appeared alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. In the movie 'Dil,' she starred alongside Aamir Khan. She was born to the Mumbai middle-class family, and started dancing in the early years of her life. She attempted acting when she was a teenager but it wasn't easy. Many of her early film projects failed. Her career took off and eventually, she would become a leading actress in the Indian film industry. After her marriage she took a few months away from acting, before returning to the entertainment field. Recently, she had a major role in the movie "Gulaab Gang" that was about the triumphs and struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated fifteen times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of these awards she won. She was also presented with the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award. She is also well-known for her charitable work.
