Kristen Anne Bell is an American actress and performer born in 1980. Her parents were Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier and both are television news directors. Bell was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Her birthplace was in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan and was raised by the family of a Polish mother and a father who was German, English Irish, Scottish and Irish. Kristen was already an accomplished performer from a young age. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after attending her first audition. Bell was appointed by her mom as an agent when she was thirteen years old. Bell was later chosen for the newspaper advertisements and TV commercials. Additionally, she began to take private acting classes. Bell had an uncredited role in the film Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell was a member of the music and drama clubs of Shrine Catholic High School. Bell was cast as Dorothy in the production for high school of The Wizard of Oz. Bell attended New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts to study musical theatre following her graduating. Bell quit her college in 2001 after she was cast in the role Becky for Tom Sawyer. In 2001, she made her debut on the credit screen as Becky in Pootie Tang. The film was cut, however the scene she played was removed out of the movie and her appearance was only in the credits. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and The Crucible Broadway performance of The Crucible in 2002.
