Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Martinca, an actress from Romania. Her debut on screen was Sex Traffic, a Channel 4 film in which she won the British Academy Television Award as Best Actress. She speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian proficiently. Her father is the director of the theater at one of the best Romanian acting schools. She won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year in 2000 at The Mangalia Young Actor Gala. She was recognized as an European Shooting Star" by the European Film Promotion Board. She was a teacher for four years at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu in Iasi. bAnamaria Marineca is an Romanian film actress who was born on 1st April, 1978 at Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca - an actress who is of Romanian descendance began her career as an actor with Sex Traffic a British/Canadian TV film for which Anamaria Marinca won the British Academy Television Award. The actress's debut film, Sex Traffic won an award from the British Academy of Television, to be the Best Actress. She also received several awards for her role in 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. She was in 2007 the lead role in as a character in the Romanian movie 4 luni 3 saptamani si2 zile (4 Months, 3 Weeks, and 3 Weeks, 2 Days) which was directed produced by Cristian Mungiu (4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days). The film received two prizes at the Cannes Film Festival (the Cinema Prize from the French National Education System & the FIPRESCI Prize). She also appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. She portrayed Yasim Awar in the BBC's 5 episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca played the role in her role in the Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's acclaimed Five Minutes of Heaven. In the feature film Fury (2014) the actress played Irma, an German woman who was Emma's aunt.
